The Kurdish women’s movement considers every human responsible for actively addressing their own ways, because fighting for a liberated society always also means liberating oneself. In patriarchy, this means unmasking and collectively overcoming one’s own forms of male dominant behaviour. Approaches of the Kurdish freedom movement are shared and discussed in this workshop to collectively explore what ‘a free man’ might be.
