The webshop currently offers the following discounts:

Payment in the webshop can be made by credit card (American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard or Visa), debit card (MasterCard), Pay Pal and online banking.

Note:
If tickets are bought within 24 hours with the same credit card, this credit card will be rejected at the fourth trial. This practice is a standard of the payment provider to protect the card holders and minimize credit card fraud.

The webshop offers the following free delivery methods: ticketdirect and collection from the daytime or evening box office (picking up tickets at the daytime box office is possible from 13 April 2026).

Each ticketdirect is valid for a single admission to the performance. The first person to present the ticketdirect will be granted admission and does not need to identify themselves as the purchaser of the ticket. You can print out the ticket or alternatively have it available on your mobile device at the entrance.

Tickets for performances the same evening can be booked up until 75 minutes before a performance starts. After that time a performance is shown as "currently no tickets available".

From the moment of selection, any ticket will remain in the shopping cart for 30 minutes at most. After expiry of this period, the ticket will be automatically removed from the shopping cart and again be put on sale. This will not affect any other tickets that were placed in the shopping cart at a later point in time.

Advance waiting list
For high-demand performances the option of contacting the Festwochen Service on +43 1 589 22 22 with a ticket request is available until 13 May. You will be contacted until three days before the performance latest if returns become available. After that, possible returns will be made available at the box offices, the webshop and the ticket sales by telephone. Therefore, it can pay off to look for last minute availabilities in the 2 days leading up to the performance. The advance waiting list will NOT be adopted by the evening box office.

Evening box office waiting list
If a performance is sold out, the evening box office will draw up a waiting list when it opens (one hour before the performance starts). The advance waiting list will not be adopted by the evening box office. 15 minutes before the performance starts, any tickets that have not been picked up will be sold according to the list. Only one name can be added to the list per person, and only one ticket is issued per name; pre-booking is not possible.

Evening box offices open one hour before the performance starts.

Please note: depending on the production, you may not be admitted to the auditorium if you arrive late.

Standing room tickets (EUR 4) go on sale at the evening box office one hour before the start of the performance. Only one ticket per person; pre-booking is not possible.

Note:
Some of the standing room tickets for Бурята | The Tempest at Burgtheater will already be available at advance ticket sales.

Tickets for this exhibition are only available at MAK – Museum für angewandte Kunst. Its discounts apply.
Each Vienna Festival | Free Republic of Vienna 2026 ticket entitles the holder to the discounted ticket price of EUR 10 (until 13 September).

Tickets for the performances of Donaugold can only be bought at brut Wien (with exception of the performance on 24 May available only in combination with Wallden on 23 May).
Tickets are already on sale, on 26 February a small quota will be made available. The discounts of brut Wien apply.

Tickets for this exhibition are only available at MAK – Museum für angewandte Kunst. Its discounts apply.
Each Vienna Festival | Free Republic of Vienna 2026 ticket entitles the holder to the discounted ticket price of EUR 10 (until 20 September).

Tickets for this concert are only available at Arena Wien.
The ticket sale starts on 27 February 10am. The discounts of Arena Wien apply.

Please note the following before buying tickets:

– Age restriction: 18 years and up
– The performance depicts self-harming behaviour and contains explicit depictions or descriptions of physical violence. Blood and needles are used in the performance, strobe effects may also be used.
– There is no seating available for either part of the performance.
– The events take place outdoors and will also go ahead in case of rain; please take rainproof clothing and shoes.
– The necessary bus transfers from Vienna to Prinzendorf Castle, as well as from Prinzendorf Castle to Schwedenplatz are already included in the ticket price.
– The evening box-office is only available at the venue Wiener Eislauf-Verein.

– All discounts are subject to quotas.
– A limited number of numbered tickets only for the part taking place in Vienna will be available from April. Find more information at festwochen.at from April

Please note the following before you buy tickets:

– Recommended for ages 18+
– The performance contains depictions of sexual acts and physical, psychological and sexualised violence, nudity, non-gender-neutral language used as an artistic device, queerphobia, misogyny, sexism and suicide.
– No late admission – doors open at 6pm.
– Limited seating is only available occasionally.
– It is not permitted to take mobile phones into the performance. They must be left at the cloakroom or sealed in special pouches to bring inside without exception.
– Parts of the performance take place outdoors. Please make sure to bring suitable clothing and footwear.
– Please take cash for refreshments etc. (food and drink are optional).
– Good friends bring a little something: we’ d be grateful for a donation of unpackaged fruit or vegetables to take along for your visit!

If you have made use of the reduction for holders of a disability ID card or have specific needs, please get in touch at service@festwochen.at no later than two weekdays before the performance so your individual needs can be met.

Austrian Sign Language
On 18 May / 1 / 3 / 5 / 6 June, the performances can be interpreted in Austrian Sign Language. Please send an email with your preferred date at least one week before the performance to service@festwochen.at so we can note your requirements or reserve a place for you in good time.

Wallden and Donaugold in combination
Wallden on 23 May and Donaugold on 24 May are only available in combination (EUR 100), no discounts available.

Donaugold
Tickets for the further performances of Donaugold can only be bought at brut Wien. Tickets are already on sale, on 26 February a small quota will be made available. The discounts of brut Wien apply.

Tickets for the productions can also be purchased from 3 March (service charges apply) at erstebank.at/ticketing (discounts apply for customers of Erste Bank and Sparkasse using the George online banking platform) as well as at all oeticket outlets, at oeticket.com or at +43 900 94 96 096 (subject to availability).
