30 November 2021Festwochen on tour

The festival months of the 2021 Wiener Festwochen are over – at least in Vienna. However, the festival itself is now on tour, taking two highly acclaimed in-house productions out into the world. Marlene Monteiro Freitas’s stunning work Pierrot lunaire, featuring the thrilling Sofia Jernberg as the highly expressive Pierrot, is making a stop on 20 and 21 May 2022 at the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen as start of their tour. And in Antwerp, Martijn Dendievel conducts the HERMESensemble to Philippe Quesne’s Lied von der Erde at the deSingel. We’ll of course keep you posted on further stops and performances along the ‘Festwochen on tour’ itinerary!
