intimacies is an on-demand service for performative encounters, designed to facilitate one-on-one meetings between audience members and professional performers.
For the Free Republic of Wiener Festwochen, the public is invited to follow and test the development process of the platform intimacies.com. Individual performers can be booked for 1-on-1 encounters that unfold through performative miniatures. If you'd like to express preferences or learn more about the available performances and artists, you can visit the temporary intimacies office at the House of the Republic festival center in advance. However, appointments can also be attended without prior arrangement. Tickets are released every Monday at 10:00 AM for the upcoming weekend. The intimacies office is open from May 16 to June 16, Wednesday through Sunday, from 12–1 PM. Outside of Free Republic of Wiener Festwochen, private performances with artists can also be booked through the platform intimacies.com, usually taking place in hotel rooms. Pricing varies depending on the artist, the client’s financial means, the level of customization, and the location of the encounter.
