Cassie Kinoshi

Cassie Kinoshi, is a British composer, arranger and alto-saxophonist with a focus on creating multi-disciplinarily and genre-blending performance work. She has received commissions by orchestras and ensembles such as London Symphony Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, BBC Philharmonic and the Ligeti Quartet among others. The improvising ensemble seed., which she founded as a way of celebrating Britain’s diversity, was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2019.
