What is the power of theatre?
With Liebestod, world-renowned performance artist Angélica Liddell confronts her fundamental ideas about theatre, tragedy and its meaning for society - a personal battle, a stirring monologue in the middle of a bullring. Liddell is known for her unconventional and visually stunning works about personal, social and political violence. Her plays have been shown at international festivals and have won several awards. Liddell herself will be on stage for Liebestod. We are looking for Extras to complete the cast.
We are looking for
- Fathers with their babies (younger than 16 months) for a baptism scene
- an athletic, tall Black man for, i.a., a couple dance scene with A. Liddell
Production information
- possible working languages: English, Spanish, French
- Stage experience is not a requirement
- You should not be allergic to cats
Casting
- for the fathers with their babies an online casting will be provided
- for the athletic, tall Black man the casting will be on 25 May 2024
- rehearsals will be on 25 May 2024
- performances will be on 26 and 27 May 2024
- rehearsals and performances will be paid
