Choreographer and curator Mamela Nyamza is a key figure of South Africa’s protests against the unequal treatment of womxn and gender-based violence. Her workshop is aimed at any person who experiences and feels the way womxn do, enabling a personalised and solidarity-based reflection on where womxn stand today in our societies. For this purpose, Nyamza also makes available various symbols and gestures from her language of movement.
