Valerie Sajdik

Biography
Valerie Sajdik first became known as the singer of Saint Privat. For years, she run a music salon for the heart of Vienna. Besides her own chansons, her repertoire consists of classics of the French chanson tradition as well as German songs from the twenties and thirties of the 20th century, which she regularly presents at concerts in France and New York. In cooperation with the University of Montpellier, she staged a concert with the poetry of Berlin writer Mascha Kaleko at the Opera Montpellier. She was a finalist of the Jeux de la Francophonie at the Opera in Nice and was awarded an Amadeus Music Award each for Saint Privat and her solo work. Lately, she released her French, German and English jazz chanson albums Les Nuits Blanches and Funambule on her own label. Her latest single is heard in the third season of the Netflix-series Emily in Paris.
