What do you do when you are not well (to get through hard times)? What supports you? What gives you new strength? What things do you do regularly that bring you joy? That are good for you? That make you happy?
Rituals of all kinds accompany our every day and often come to the fore in our daily habits and practices. They can support us and add small moments of joy to our lives. This workshop aims to provide a space for us to find out what rituals/habits/practices we have to live a good life and also to build resilience while we embroider together. Especially in such challenging times as we are living through at the moment.
We will embroider fabric squares for a quilt. A part of the quilt already exists; the embroidered squares will be added to it. Mutual exchange is part of the workshop as quilt-making has traditionally often been a collective practice.
