On the occasion of its 75th anniversary, we are honoring the Vienna Festival, which has contributed significantly to establishing Vienna as an international center of artistic exchange since its inception. That is why we are delighted to once again support the Vienna Festival | Free Republic of Vienna as its main partner in 2026.

As a Wiener Festwochen partner, the Chamber of Labour for Vienna (Arbeiterkammer Wien, AK) sponsors free admission events. It takes its statutory mandate to represent its members’ cultural interests just as seriously as the advice it offers them in matters of labour law and tax law, legal protection and consumer protection.

On behalf of its members, the Chamber of Labour for Vienna strives to put in place a form of cultural sponsorship that is as broad-based as possible. Through its co-operation with the Wiener Festwochen, it enables a wide audience – one that also includes young people – to take part in all sorts of Wiener Festwochen events by offering free admission. The Chamber of Labour for Vienna (Arbeiterkammer Wien, AK) sets great store by offering its members the opportunity to enjoy, and have access to, art and culture.

Celebrating 300 years since its foundation in Vienna by Emperor Joseph I in 1707, Dorotheum is today one of the oldest and largest auction houses in the world, a leader in central Europe as well as the largest auction house in German-speaking area.
