Have you ever seen a divine creature? The programme for children and young teens at the floating House of the Republic is all about gods and goddesses, inside and out. What do they look like? Are they invisible, or do they only show themselves to those who believe in them? Can we hear them? Together, the young workshop participants design divine creatures that have one key element in common: water. Water creatures emerge from old pool noodles, hoses, floats and water wings. Beyond design and construction, the voices and sounds of the new deities are explored in a sound workshop. Posters and playing cards that reveal their superpowers are designed in the graphics workshop. It’s the birth of an entire audiovisual universe all about the freshly created water creatures!
