Khashabi Theatre

Khashabi Theatre is an independent Palestinian theatre in Haifa, founded by a group of young artists including Bashar Murkus and Khulood Basel. It sees itself as an open space for experimental the-atre, music and performance beyond state control. Khashabi com-bines political urgency with striking aesthetics and has become an important symbol of cultural independence and artistic resistance.
