The scholarship programme In the Field brings together 15 emerging artists and cultural workers from a radius of 300 kilometres around Vienna for an intense exchange of knowledge and practices. Around the festival programme, the participants meet international artists and the local scene, focusing on exchange and mutual learning. It being the Republic of Gods, In the Field looks at aesthetic and political methods to critically question familiar myths and dominant narratives and to introduce new view points.
