Biography

Imaginarium, a Tuscan studio active since 2011, specialises in scenography and visual arts for music and opera. In 2018, it received recognition as Italian Excellence for Art from the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles. It is directed by Davide Giannoni, orchestra professor, double bass graduate, and animation technology researcher, and Francesca Pasquinucci, illustrator and digital scenography specialist. After their musical, literary, artistic, and theatrical studies, they have developed their practice focusing on the interaction between traditional material arts and digital arts, turning their interest to video mapping as a tool for narration and the creation of dreamlike spaces, finding in it a device for studying and evolving their surreal style, anchored in the rules of poetry. They actively collaborate with international classical and Italian pop musicians (Universal Music Italia, Virgin Music).
