Igor Shugaleev

Igor Shugaleev is a Belarusian-born choreographer, actor, and performer currently living in Warsaw. In 2012, he graduated from the State Academy of Arts in Minsk, Belarus, and began his career as a freelance theatre and dance artist. Since 2019, he has focused on developing interdisciplinary projects and an artistic language at the intersection of dance, theatre, and political activism. In his work, he explores the vulnerable body through extreme states and addresses queer identity, forced migration, systemic violence, and physical resistance.
