Ho Tzu Nyen NO MAN II

A fragment from NO MAN IIis an excerpt from Ho Tzu Nyen’s eponymous six-hour videoinstallation, to be shown in the Kärntnertorpassage on Vienna’s Karlsplatz from 2 June.

In NO MAN II, the Singaporean artist gathers a spectral choir of chimera-like creatures of mysterious origin. People, animals, hybrids and cyborgs populate the screen in a fascinating choreography that reflects a panorama of figurative depiction featuring bodies from throughout history.

No man is an island entire of itself;
every man is a piece of the continent,
apart of the main; *
