Ferdinando Chefalo

Biography
Ferdinando Chefalo studied ballet at the Accademia di Danza Classica Rolf Bertschinger in Lugano (Switzerland) as well as singing and acting in Vienna. His stage career began at the Stadttheater St. Pölten, followed by engagements at MusikTheater an der Wien, Volksoper Wien, Raimund Theater and Ronacher, among others, as well as numerous roles in TV productions. For more than 25 years now, he is working as a choreographer and director. His experiences reach from directing the Life Ball in 2004 and 20054 to musicals and chamber operas and works for the Salzburg Festival, Ruhr Triennale and the Burgtheater. Moreover, as head choreographer he was responsible for over 200 TV-productions of the ORF such as Starmania, Dancing Stars and Helden von Morgen.
