How does spiritual resistance work? The film The Falling Sky accompanies the Yanomami in the Amazon as they perform their reahu ritual to keep the sky from falling, and shows the consequences of gold mining and environmental destruction from the point of view of shaman Davi Kopenawa. The screening is followed by a conversation with the Brazilian director of the film, Gabriela Carneiro da Cunha, and activist and scholar Edson Krenak.
