Music functions as a shared experience rather than a sequence of sets for this night. A fluid set-up of collaboration, improvisation and on-the-spot guest appearances blends shoegaze, ambient and slowcore, borne by Vienna’s diverse underground scene. At its centre is a selection of acts with whom Sakura has worked and recorded during the past year. Together, they open fragile, dense and hypnotic soundscapes that merge into each other. To complete the night, Pal Klusacek’s visual works and projections charge the room and erase the boundaries between concert and collective experience.
