Chaos String Quartet

To take a fundamentally honest path, a path that overcomes supposed boundaries – this is the motto of the Chaos String Quartet. The four members Susanne Schäffer, Eszter Kruchió, Sara Marzadori and Bas Jongen understand chaos as the “original form of all creative”, by which art, science and philosophy can be joined to an artistic synthesis. Awarded at the ARD Music Competition, the Bordeaux String Quartet Competition and the Joseph Haydn Competition, the Chaos String Quartet quickly found its place on the international stages. Under the mentorship of Prof. Johannes Meissl in Vienna and Oliver Wille in Hannover, the ensemble additionally completes a postgraduate study at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with the Cuarteto Casals.
