Anna Korsun
Biography
Anna Korsun is a Ukrainian composer. She studied composition in Kyiv and Munich and works at the intersection of composition, performance and sound art. One focus is acoustic sound sources, especially the voice. Her compositions have been performed by numerous renowned festivals and ensembles, including Donaueschinger Musiktage, ECLAT Festival, ISCM, the Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, Klangforum Wien, SWR Vokalensemble and Ensemble Modern. She has been a scholarship holder at Villa Massimo, the Goethe-Institut Canada, and the Akademie Schloss Solitude and Villa Concordia.
