Wiener Festwochen will for the first time set up a lounge at the heart of the city, in the former tailor shop at Vienna’s Looshaus. On 22 April, an unusual architectural space will open its doors to audiences to offer Festwochen literature, audio and video recordings as well as international daily newspapers. Together with our main sponsor Raiffeisen and the Vienna Main Library, an elegant reading room covering everything to do with Wiener Festwochen will be installed. We invite our visitors to drop in for information about the Festwochen programme or to enjoy a leisurely browse through texts and programme books.
Festwochen Preview
On Saturday mornings, Performing Arts Director Stefanie Carp will offer a preview of next week’s premieres and invite the artists staying in Vienna to participate.
Festwochen Talks
On 5 June, the artists of the forum festwochen programme will debate the issue.
