Many people in the artistic-cultural sphere who solidarise with new protest movements are asking themselves a number of explosive, unresolvable questions. This situation of apparent entrapment seems to harbour one moment of utopia that can be triggered today: artistic imaginations of a political subject that take recourse to forms and formats going beyond the genre of short-lived artistic agitation and their parading in the space of art. For this group show, the Secession and adjacent exhibition areas will be transformed into a walking tour at the interface between visual and performing arts.
